52 recommendations of Biplab Kumar Sarma Committee on clause 6 of Assam Accord accepted by govt, says AASU

These proposals aim to safeguard the cultural, social, and linguistic identity of Assamese people. While the Citizenship Amendment Act remains a point of contention, the government plans to implement the approved points in phases.
